The nation's new almost-sweetheart Tulisa Contostavlos has opened up about having sex toys. The X Factor judge and this month's FHM cover star told the magazine that it's perfectly normal to own a sex toy and said that about half of the country has one.
The singer, who was voted the sexiest woman in the world by FHM and its readers, spoke about a recent cringey moment. Talking about her recent embarrassment at Miami airport when a vibrating Rampant Rabbit went off in her luggage, she said: "I own a Rampant Rabbit. Same as probably 50 per cent of the country. I'm human, and yes I own a Rabbit.
"I don't see anything wrong with that. At least you know that I know how to keep myself entertained. so I don't need any men to do it for me."
She said that she's shocked that people are shocked by it: "It's hilarious the way people are like 'Oh my god, she has a Rabbit! Oh my god, she's such a slut." Well, not really, because if I have a Rabbit, it means that I'm using the Rabbit, rather than going out and seeing guys. So realistically it makes me, to a certain extent, more respectable!"
Good logic, Tulisa!
Learning from the "dark times"
And onto the nastier subject of the sex-tape, she said it was a bad point, but that she's learned from it: "This has been a dark time for me, just like many other dark times in my life, and it just makes me more and more the person that I am today."
"It's just one of those things that you learn from and you take on the chin, and then it makes you a stronger person."
And we bet she's put all of that way behind her - she's got bigger things to think about, like celebrating. Yesterday, she got to number one in the singles charts with her song We Are Young. Well done, Tulisa!
