Hilary Duff’s taken to motherhood like a duck to water, and her Twitpics are proof she’s having a great time with baby Luca.
The Cheaper By the Dozen star has never been shy about posting pictures of the little one, who was born March 20, and yesterday she tweeted a picture of the pair enjoying some mummy-baby bonding time.
“Me and my beautiful boy,” she wrote alongside the super cute snap. “So much to be thankful for.”
So giving is birth is supposed to be pretty hard work right? Not for our Hilary – it was a walk in the park apparently.
“It was very easy. I went into labour at about one in the morning and I very calmly had my bags packed and woke my husband [NHL player Mike Comrie] up after about three hours of walking up and down my hallway,” the 24-year-old said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show recently.
“Then I was like, ‘OK, it's time to go now.’ We got in the car and drove to the hospital and that was it.”
The many faces of Luca
Hilary also told Ellen about the changes Luca’s going through.
“Every single day, it seems like there's a new face that they're making. He started to smile about a week ago and that's the coolest experience. It's all good.
“What is to come is such an amazing journey and a lot of work. It's just like the best thing that's ever happened to you.”
And if you think having a baby means kissing goodbye to a full night’s sleep, you could be wrong.
“I feel weird because it seems like I'm bragging but he sleeps 11 to six. It is possible, ladies.”
