If there’s one person who knows Simon Cowell very well, it’s his fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden. But Amanda has been speaking out about her pal Simon Cowell, saying that although she “loves” him, he certainly hasn’t had a chance to get to know her in any other ways other than friendship… if you get our drift.
Speaking in the new issue of Easy Living magazine Amanda confided. “I’m the only one he hasn’t slept with. And it’s staying that way. I love Simon. I met him 15 years ago. The first thing I said was, ‘Don’t get any ideas. I’ve booked a car to take me home’.”
Ooh, we do like it – she’s feisty.
The fact that Amanda has managed to fend off any cheeky ideas from Si-Co is quite a feat too – after all Dannii Minogue clearly didn’t manage it at all and even Cheryl Cole had to put up with his interested eye, even though they didn’t ever get together.
Instead, Amanda has happily settled with her husband Chris Hughes, six-year-old daughter Lexi and new baby Hollie, six months. And as we already know, she’s had a pretty tough couple of years, although it seems she has come through those horrible times well.
As a result we’re giving Amanda a big ‘Hurrah’… for battling some very dark times and for coming through it smiling - and also for not sleeping with Simon Cowell. The girl’s done well.
