It’s an extra special Father’s Day for Alex Reid as he’s actually become a father after fiancé Chantelle Houghton gave birth to a baby girl this morning!

Celebrity Big Brother star Alex shared the news that he’s become a das on Twitter (where else) today, and also wishing all his followers a ‘happy ecstatic Father’s Day’,
“I'm delighted to announce the arrival of my beautiful baby daughter early this morning. Both mother and baby doing well,” he wrote on the social networking site.
That message was quickly followed with another update, "This really is the most amazing day ever for the 3 of us. Life isn't good, it's great. I love my girls so much. Happy ecstatic father's day!”
No news as yet on the baby girl’s name or birth weight.
Reality TV stars Chanelle and Alex have been dogged by constant speculation about the state of their relationship, with several reports that he’d broken up while Alex was off on tour and Chantelle was left at their Essex home alone. However, recently it seems that their relationship is was improving, and Chantelle has stated that rumours of a split are untrue,
“After the worst three weeks ever, things are a lot better between Alex and me. Any suggestions that I know my relationship with Alex is over are completely untrue.”
Let’s hope that with a new baby girl Alex and Chantelle can sort out any problems once and for all, and that they can enjoy life as a happy family.
