Cheryl Cole on being a role model, her mother, music, eating junk food and tattoos

With a new single and a forthcoming album to promote, Cheryl Cole has been a busy lady with interview after interview.

In one of her more revealing chats, Chezza has opened up about all sorts of topics discussing everything from being a role model (she wants to be seen as a strong woman by her fans), and who she looks up to (it’s Beyonce), to her relationship with her mother.

“There's actually a bit of role reversal with my mother, if I'm completely honest,” she explains to I-D Online. “I'm like the mother. She's like the child. So, it's an odd relationship. I tell her off more than she tells me off.”

Cheryl also discusses her love of tattoos, “It's like body art,” she says, “And I think it's reflective of somebody's personality. I don't know what it is. I'm always attracted to people with body art.”

She also touches on her love of junk food (which seems to be a perk of being a recording studio), feeling intimated by will.i.am and working with exciting new talent on her new album.

We love this new candid Cheryl.
