Cheryl on Prince Harry: “He’s a hot ginger”

Cheryl on Prince Harry: “He’s a hot ginger”

Well, well, well – hasn’t our Cheryl been busy...

This morning, we reported that Cheryl had been out to dinner with Wretch 32, and now she’s expressing her true feelings for that flame-haired stud, Prince Harry.

Yesterday, heat headed to the Radio 1 studio to hang out with Cheryl as she co-hosted with Greg James.

Before we’d even had a chance to say ‘ay up Chezza,’ she’d already starting talking about Prince Harry and his lovely auburn hair.

The pair were linked recently when they had a right good natter backstage at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert, so we know they get on. But could romance be on the cards?

God, we hope so.

“He’s my friend. He is so cool; he’s really down to earth. You think of royalty and them being different, but he’s just one of us, with a very, very well-spoken accent,” Cheryl told Greg.

“He’s a hot ginger.  I don’t discriminate.”

Flirting

This isn't the first time Cheryl's shown an interest in Harry. In April Cheryl said that she'd heard the 27-year-old Prince had the hots for her and said: "I Love Prince Harry... I had a dream last night that I married Prince Harry and was a real-life princess. It's true. And Charles was my father-in-law."

The pair were most definitely flirting backstage at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert, our insider told us. And Harry even started the conversation by saying; "I hear you like a man in uniform," referring to Cheryl's visit to Afghanistan last year.

"Harry says he thinks Cheryl is one of the most gorgeous women in Britain," our source added.

Swan dive

Another hot topic of discussion on Radio 1 was Cheryl's performance on The Voice UK, where she threw herself into her debut performance of new single Call My Name.

And when we say she threw herself into it, we literally mean she threw herself – Cheryl jumped from a 10ft platform into the arms of some very hunky dancers. It’s a hard life, eh?

“I went into rehearsal a few days before we did The Voice and they had me being lowered into the dancers.

“I thought, ‘I’ve been away a while, I’m not going to take the stairs, let’s just dive off here’.

“It seemed like a good idea – in rehearsal, the stage was 3ft so I wasn’t jumping that far and it felt fine. Then we got to The Voice and I was like ‘Oh wow’.

“I called at the choreographer and said, ‘I can’t do this’ and she was like, ‘Cheryl, for the love of God, I have signed so many forms, you are going over that edge.'

“When I filmed it they played the wrong music first and I was all ready to do the jump and then they stopped the music. So I had all the adrenaline going through my legs before and then I had to jump. The whole routine I had jelly legs."

Fresh Prince of Bel Air fused with MC Hammer

It looks like Harry’s not the only prince catching Cheryl’s eye…

As well as the dramatic start to the performance, Cheryl also had some pretty bold dance moves going on.

“I said to the choreographer, ‘You are going to think I’m crazy but I kind of feel like I want to do these big, huge movements like the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air and dress like MC Hammer.’”

We think you’ll agree, that’s a classic combination.
