Gwyneth Paltrow has landed herself in hot water with some of her fans on Twitter for posting a racially-offensive term.
The actress was quoting a song by Jay Z and Kanye West whilst in attendance at the two rappers concert in Paris over the weekend. Gwyneth tweeted a photo of herself joining them both on stage along with the caption, ' Ni**as in paris for real.'
However, it seems as though some of the star's fans are unimpressed with the text, slamming the star for using the word. Gwyneth then tried to hush the irritated tweeters by posting a defense, simply saying,
'Hold up, It's the title of the song.'
But the actress hasn't said anything else on the matter as the tweets come pouring in. Neither Jay-Z or Kanye have commented on the tweet or its responses from fellow users.
What do you Heatworld citizens think of the tweet? We've included the track below for you to have a little listen.
