Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have long been supporters of the films that shot them into the limelight, The Twilight saga. Yes, the girls swooned and the guys groaned as each new film hit the silver screen and the vampiric tale earned it's cast and crew enough money to make us very jealous indeed.
So, we imagine the producers of the hit films aren't too pleased with star Kristen Stewart's latest confession. The actress has admitted that she'd rather Twilight doesn't win any awards at this year's MTV Movie Awards, charming. In a recent interview Kristen says,
"For the past few years, it was the Twilight show, and it was bizarre...This year's going to be fun...It's going to be like, 'Please, God, something different'. I would love to see how someone else dealt with it, to be honest."
The films (adapted from Stephanie Meyer's hit series of books) seemed to translate well into cinemas across the globe, causing mass hysteria amongst fans and forums. Still, Kristen is clearly getting a little sick of the attention, as she hopes that the movies which usually dominate the award show will be out-shone by another film this time around.
We wonder how Twilight fans will take Kristen's opinion on the matter, the actress continued,
"If we didn't win, I'd actually be kind of stoked to see how it all goes down, how they handle it,"
Kristen is currently enjoying the success of her latest flick, Snow White and the Huntsman, which went straight to the top of the US box office this weekend. Still, we don't think the actress should forget her roots too quickly.
