She might squeeze herself into the odd pair of gold hot pants now and again, but pop princess Kylie Minogue is not a fan of Madonna’s revealing outfits.
The Spinning Around singer was appearing on E!’s Fashion Police show in America alongside Joan Rivers and Kelly Osbourne when she made the statement – and although she was quite diplomatic about the whole Madge-flashing-her-boob affair, one thing was clear – she didn’t like it.
“No, just no,” she agreed as the rest of the panel discussed just why Madge should, at 53, perhaps wear more clothing on stage and ditch the cheerleader outfits.
Now, we’re not ones to judge (ahem, well maybe sometimes) but we have to say that Kylie might just have a point. Do we really need to see Madge’s boobs and other body parts time and time again? Do we? Let's face it, we have seen it all before, a fair few years ago.
But the big question is, if Madge isn’t allowed to get away with flashing the flesh, should Kylie still be parading about in bad boy hotpants? We know she loves them – and we love them too (and by heck we wish we could fit into a pair of those). But is this one of those awkward cases of practising what you preach? Or is it a case of, ‘if you’ve got it, flaunt it’? We’ll let you guys decide – you’re good at that stuff.
