Lady Gaga has revealed pics of her debut perfume, which according to the star ‘smells like the soul of fame’.
The Born This Way singer uploaded the images of her fragrance, Fame, on Twitter earlier than planned in response to an editor who sneakily posted – then deleted – a picture of the extravagant bottle.
Gaga was clearly unimpressed tweeting, ‘Looks like photos of my perfume are being leaked. Oh you fashion editors I could just crinkle my hands at you’.
The snaps showed a glass bottle of black liquid, which apparently turns invisible once sprayed on the skin. However the smell won’t have notes of blood and semen as the freaky lady once hoped. It was originally to be suited to ‘an expensive hooker’.
Instead the final product contains ‘tears of belladonna, crushed heart of tiger orchidea with a black veil of intense, pulverized apricot and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops’ – keeping it simple as usual then, Gaga.
Fame, which will be on sale later this year, was designed as a women’s fragrance although the pop icon tweeted ‘a lot of my gay friends wear it’. The singer will apparently be promoting the ‘black liquid’ by appearing on the cover of September’s Vogue. We can’t wait to get a sniff of Eau de Gaga!
