Paramedics were called to Lindsay Lohan's penthouse at a hotel after aides couldn't wake her up. The star, who is currently filming Lifetime movie Liz & Dick, didn't leave her room at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey, LA, as expected and so a 911 call was made.
According to ABC News, her representative, Steve Honig, put her excessive snooziness down to exhaustion and dehydration after long days of filming: "She was on set last night at 7pm and worked through the night until 8 in the morning."
"She took a nap before shooting her final scene. Producers were concerned when she did not come out of her room and called paramedics as a precaution. Lindsay was examined and is fine, but did suffer some exhaustion and dehydration."
Honig cleared up rumours which had suggested Lindsay had been sent to hospital, adding: "Lindsay was never taken to a hospital; reports to the contrary are false. She is resting now and is hoping to be back on set later this afternoon."
The LA County Sheriff's office said Lindsay was "groggy" but "OK as far as we know."
A very busy week
This has been quite the eventful week for Lindsay. Last Friday she wrote off a Porsche in a high-speed crash, and she's since been slated to act in a film alongside porn star James Deen.
American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis has an upcoming movie project, The Canyons, and he wants Lindsay to star alongside the adult movie actor.
He tweeted: "And I am beyond thrilled that James Deen and Lindsay Lohan will be playing the parts of Christian and Tara in The Canyons... Could not have dreamed of a better cast. Lindsay nailed it…"
Oh Lindsay...it's great that you're working again, but take it slowly!
