It’s the age old question; Will those who opt to permanently ink their body with a tattoo regret the decision later on in life?
We’re big fans of a good tattoo, but we’ve also cringed as we’ve seen celebs have to remove ex-partner’s names, names that were once lovingly etched onto some visible body part. One singer who does regret her body ink is former Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm. Mel C just reunited with her former bandmates Geri Halliwell, Victoria Beckham, Mel B and Emma Bunton for the launch of musical Viva Forever! The singer revealed that after reassessing her tattoos, she’s had a change of heart,
"I'm looking into getting some of them removed…I think it was a great idea to get rid of them for the magazine photos - I wish you could do it permanently."
Mel even confessed that she would “definitely discourage” her daughter Scarlett from getting a tattoo. The star also reflected on how she might’ve changed things back in her Spice Girl days as she confessed that she did have regrets,
"Of course I have regrets, I wish I could've been more carefree in those days – being so young and experiencing something so incredible…We've shared something so unique that if any of us needed one of the others, we'd be there,"

Despite constant media coverage that the girls aren’t as close as they make out, Mel maintains that their friendship has gotten “better with age”.
It’s not unusual to spot a tattooed celeb. We think David Beckham looks very yummy after covering his arms in those infamous sleeve tattoos. While more recently, singer Ke$ha got tongues wagging after tweeting a photo of her newest addition; the words ‘Suck it inked
into the inside of her bottom lip. Even Mick down our local has the words “Your Name” tattooed on his backside in a bid to make a quick tenner off of a stranger, it seems as though everybody’s getting in on the act.
We want to know what you Heatworld citizens think of tattoos. Do you have any you’re still in love with? Or a Robbie Williams style tribal tat you regret? Maybe you’re against them altogether, let us know.
