We’ve learned something about Michelle Williams this morning: she’s not the type of girl to settle for second best, and that includes in her relationships.
The 31-year-old mum of one – who's been dating Jason Segel for the past three months – has opened up to Flare magazine about her attitude towards dating, and she reckons that everyone should be with someone who is more than just ‘nice’.
“You deserve more than just somebody who's nice to you,” she insists. “I think that so often these days, niceness seems like it should be enough because it seems like such a rare quality but when you get inside of it, you think, ‘Hmmm … I can be pretty nice to myself.’ What about these other things? Life is too short and too crappy to not try to get more of what you want.”
Which must mean that How I Met Your Mother star Jason is pretty special. In fact friends of the actor have blabbed that he’s getting serious with Michelle and he is ready to be more grown up,
“I never thought Jason would ever date someone with a kid,” a source tells Us Weekly. “But he's taking everything in stride. He's ready to be a grown-up.”
Awww. Michelle really deserves to find someone who makes her happy.
