Oh dear! John Mayer isn’t happy with ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift…

John Mayer and Taylor Swift might have had a very brief romance way back around summer 2010 but it sounds as though a certain fella hasn’t quite let all his qualms go about that particular relationship.

After the pair split, Taylor went on to write a song called Dear John (about him), which appeared on her Speak Now album. But back then, instead of just letting bygones be bygones, JM didn’t take the whole thing too well - and apparently he still isn't over it. In fact, he says he felt “humiliated” and “terrible” by the whole thing... and er, clearly isn't about to let it go.

"It made me feel terrible," he told US magazine Rolling Stone. "Because I didn't deserve it. I'm pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that. It was a really lousy thing for her to do."

Lousy? Hm, whatever does he mean? Well, we’ve investigated and the lyrics to Taylor’s song go pretty much like this, “Dear John, I see it all, now it was wrong. Don't you think 19 is too young to be played by your dark twisted games, when I loved you so."

Ah, we see now.

John went on (on his rant), "I never got an email. I never got a phone call. I was really caught off-guard, and it really humiliated me at a time when I'd already been dressed down.

"I mean, how would you feel if, at the lowest you've ever been, someone kicked you even lower?"

Well, okay we agree we wouldn’t be happy – but we’ve also never dated a famous singer-songwriter so it’s one of those situations we’ve never considered pal.

So what we have learnt today is that John Mayer is still not quite over the whole Taylor Swift song-writing thing. Maybe he could pen a track about humiliation and they’ll be even? No?
