Oh we do love Twitter sometimes. So here we were today scrolling through our rather busy timeline (for work purposes obviously, we were checking out what you were saying about heat TV of course) when up popped a tweet from a certain Mr Olly Murs. And what did Olly have to say? Well it seemed he was doing a bit of a flirt, with a pretty blonde. A pretty single blonde you may have heard of actually… Katherine Jenkins!

The Heart Skips (‘skips skips’) A Beat singer cheekily wrote, “Watching wimbledon... @KathJenkins pops up on screen... How pretty is she!!!! #putherbackontheteleplease”

Well, we think the people at Wimbledon heard Olly’s plea because soon after that hashtag went out, we saw a lot more of Katherine Jenkins on the tennis coverage too. And he was right, she was looking rather hot while taking in a spot of the sport. And we can only imagine how happy that made Olly while he was sitting in front of his telly.

Of course, by tagging in Katherine’s Twitter name to his tweet, the lady herself was bound to receive his message loud and clear (especially after hundreds of fans retweeted him) so it was no surprise that Katherine did indeed reply to Olly’s not-so subtle attempt at flirting…

In fact, she tweeted him back saying, “You sweetie x”

Ooh er! Could this develop in to something? Has Olly Murs finally found his perfect woman? Will the fact that hundreds of thousands of people the world over are watching them chat put them off? Or will Olly reply to Kath via DM (that’s direct message for those who aren’t fans of the social networking terminology)? Only time will tell.
