Let’s be honest – it’s this sort of stuff that makes young men want to become singers in the first place.

One Direction, who are currently on tour in America, were singing UP All Night at Gibson Amphitheater, LA on Saturday when female (we hope) fans started pelting them with bras.

The poor fellas probably didn’t even know what bras were until this…

Zayn Malik and Harry Styles both grabbed the undergarments as they came soaring towards their faces and safely and responsibly popped them to the edge of the stage to avoid any embarrassing bra-related stumbles.

Either that or they were just putting them to one side to grab later…

Behind the scenes

So what do our lovely One Direction boys get up to when their waiting to go on stage?

Well apparently they like to play a little game called Fruit Ninja. Now, we know what you’re thinking: ‘So what? They play games on their iPhones.’

But it’s not quite like that.

The lads have created a real life version of the smartphone game where you slice fruit with a knife as it comes towards you.

“Don’t try this at home,” Zayn warns. “Basically you throw the fruit in the air and cut it in half.”

Liam adds: “Every dressing room we go in seems to have a chopping board, a knife and a bowl of fruit.”

We hope the boys make a fruit salad afterwards and get their five-a-day.

As well as clearing up fruit from the boys’ dressing room, promoters have been given the job of getting the One Direction riders together, but unfortunately this means trawling the shops for treats from back home.

You‘d think it would be easy getting hold of a few teabags and some bangers, but not in the States apparently.

Liam Payne’s been asking for Yorkshire tea and Niall Horan wants to get his hands on some sausages from back home.

“I want Irish sausages if I can get hold of them as they are the best in the world. I love an English breakfast tea with three sugars before a show, too,” Niall said.

Can’t you just have a pretzel or a corndog or something?
