She’s was first spotted with a baby bump back in March, but Reese Witherspoon has kept very quiet on the subject of her pregnancy… until now.
The Legally Blonde star has at last publically acknowledged her growing tummy during An Evening With Reese Witherspoon hosted by the Gene Siskel Film Centre in Chicago. Which means that we can finally talk about Reese being pregnant without feeling bad about it. Whoop!
During the event held in her honour Reese admitted to the audience that she was, “feeling a little round.” And she also joked about gorging on Chicago’s famous deep pan pizzas, “I’m always feeling like I’d like to eat everything in sight.” She also admitted to that she’s “very excited” about welcoming her third child.
Awww.
The new baby will be Reese’s first child with second husband Jim Toth, she already has a daughter Ava, 12 and a son Deacon, 8, with her ex Ryan Phillippe.
Reese also told the Chicago Sun Times that she’s planning on taking a break from acting once the new arrival comes. Talking about the movie she’s currently filming with Colin Firth, she said,
“It's about a crime that occurred in 1993. It happened in Arkansas, and it's what I'd say is a very American story. And, after I finish that, I'm going to take a little time off – and go have a baby!”
