Russell Brand Flirts with Lorraine Kelly

We almost choked on our breakfast this morning when comedian Russell Brand decided to flirt outrageously with extremely sweet presenter Lorraine Kelly as she tried to interview him for her show.

It all started with Lorraine telling Russell she was sorry his marriage with Katy Perry hadn’t worked out, to which he replied, “Well it did work out in a way because you are married for some time, and that’s really good, and then you're not married, and that’s really good. You just have to have acceptance of things. She is a person that I love, but now this is a new time.

“I suppose a divorce is difficult isn’t it, because of the admin! There’s a lot of admin.”

Russell shared that he has turned to yoga and meditation to help cope with the split, he said, “Well firstly, I don't want to sound like a lunatic, but if you meditate and do yoga you become attuned to that there is different energy that’s constant and very, very beautiful. Some people would call it God, some people would call it karma or the cosmos, me - I call it sexual charisma.”

From this point on in the interview things got very naughty, with Russell declaring, “I thought how long are we going to sit in what is essentially a hotel room without Lorraine Kelly saying, ‘Ooh you've got lovely sexual charisma!’

“You’ve got loads of it. You sort of squirm in your seat - I think that’s how you've got your career. Cos you've got the energy sort of very gentle and maternal, but people are sort of thinking ‘I would’.”

This very funny interview was all meant to be for Russell to promote his role in Rock Of Ages, which is out in cinemas for advanced screenings now.
