A friend of the couple has revealed to US mag Life & Style that "He writes personalized sonnets to Blake via email and handwritten letters.” Yes that’s right, he picks up a pen, and hand writes them… so they’re not even copied and pasted from a website. Basically, it’s like Mr Big in Sex and the City but without the cancelled wedding and painful break-up. "When he travels and is away from her, he is constantly serenading her with poems and love letters."

Shockingly (by which we man, not at all shockingly), "Blake thinks it's so romantic.” Apparently, this is very different to Ryan’s ex, Scarlett Johansson’s, reaction to romantic gestures, though. "Scarlett was always embarrassed and thought Ryan was silly when he did this," says the source. "Blake is the complete opposite - she saves everything."

So, somewhere Blake Lively has a box (probably made of solid gold and covered in diamond flowers and ruby love hearts, painstakingly hand-crafted by her devoted man) full of sonnets from Ryan Reynolds.
