Justin Bieber certainly wasn’t looking in a loving mood a couple of weeks ago when he hit out at a photographer. But his girlfriend Selena Gomez assures us, he’s actually ‘a hopeless romantic.’
Disney favourite Selena was treated to a Titanic-themed treat by the Baby singer lately.
Justin hired out the huge LA stadium, The Staples Centre in September so they could enjoy a private screening of the soppy film together.
“I had just mentioned it in the car – all I said is that I really want to see Titanic again, and then…” Selena told Elle magazine.
“He really is a hopeless romantic.”
The good looking couple have been dating since early 2011 and seem set to stick together for a while.
Tough upbringing
During the interview, Selena also opened up about her troubled childhood, which saw her brought up in a one parent home in Texas with very little money.
“I can remember about seven times when our car got stuck on the highway because we’d run out of gas money.
“She still saved up to take me to concerts. She took me to museums, aquariums, to teach me about the world, about what’s real,” the Wizards Of Waverly Place star said.
After showing an interest in drama, Selena grabbed the attention of Disney scouts, but said they didn’t force her to change to fit their mould.
“Disney is a machine, so people automatically assume that you can’t work for the channel unless you act and sing and dance and sign up for all that.
“That’s absolutely not true. I always did everything the way I wanted to do it.”
