Jessica Wright and Ricky Rayment got together right before our very eyes on The Only Way Is Essex.

But they’ve made it perfectly clear they don’t want to be anything like TOWIE’s most famous couple: on-again-off-again Mark Wright and Lauren Goodger.

Jessica’s brother Mark was the subject of a number of the show's storylines with girlfriend of ten years Lauren. One week they were engaged; the next they hated each other’s guts – it was hard to keep up quite frankly!

The couple are now officially not together. But that could soon change, knowing these two...

"We're not interested in being the show's biggest love story. We want to keep parts of our relationship private,” Jess told Closer magazine.

“We're not the new Mark and Lauren. The 'Mark and Lauren' thing is boring.”

Jess and Ricky started dating back in April, but only cemented their relationship status as ‘boyfriend and girlfriend’ on the most recent episode of the show, The Only Way Is Marbs, which aired last month.

Both Dance All Night singer Jess and Ricky have had their fair share of TOWIE romances. Jess was seeing Joey Essex for a while and Ricky’s been linked to Jess’ almost sister-in-law Lauren, Lydia Bright and Cara Kilbey.

Ricky said: “I've been friends with Lydia for years and it was only a few dates with Cara. I was never trying to go after Lauren. Don't go there! Jess was always the TOWIE girl I fancied the most!”

And it looks like Jess is as keen on Ricky as he is on her.

She said: "Ricky and I are just so compatible and he's very sensitive."

But what happens when budding popstar Jess goes on tour?

He said: "I'll go on tour with her! I'd love it. She's a great singer and she's going to do amazingly."
