Simon Cowell's cheeky birthday greeting for Cheryl Cole

 

Cheryl Cole has been living it up in Las Vegas to celebrate her 29th Birthday. The luck thing. While frenemy Simon Cowell didn't get an invite to Chezza's do, he did send the former X Factor judge a present – which also doubled up as payback.

Si-Co arranged for a plane to skywrite the message, “Cheryl - Congratulations you’re 30 next year! ha ha ha Love Simon x.”

So, why the 'hilarious' prank? For Simon's birthday last year Cheryl sent a plane with a banner that read, “Simon Cowell is 52 today! Ha ha ha! Love Cheryl xoxo,” to zoom past Si's LA home 52 times.

Andrew Lloyd Webber: 'The Voice singers were out of tune!'

 

While the public seemed to lose interest in The Voice as the show progressed, but one man wasn’t a fan at all!

Andrew Lloyd Webber – who in fairness knows a thing or two about singing – has said that The Voice contestants were out of tune,

“I don’t know what the problem was there. Everyone was out of tune all the time. I just couldn’t watch it,” he said.

“Unfortunately, I have perfect pitch — it’s either one of the great advantages or the greatest affliction in life. When people sing out of tune, I just can’t listen.”

Lord Andy does have Superstars, a brand new ITV show to promote, but we’re sure these comments about the BBC’s talent show are just coincidental.
 

One Direction’s Niall Horan’s racy reading

 

It’s not just yummy mummys who are flicking through erotic novel 50 Shades Of Grey – apparently teenage boy band members are in to it too.

One Direction singer Niall Horan has revealed that a fan gave him a copy of the smutty book and despite only reading one page he’s impressed,

“A girl gave it to me the other day,” he tells The Mirror, “I read the first page and put it down. But it was good.”
