Poor Anne Hathaway. We once came back from a hairdressers with a bowl cut when all we wanted was a trim, so we can sympathise with her hair disaster trauma!
Taking her art seriously, Anne decided that she would lop off all her hair for her role as Fantine in Les Miserables, rather than use a wig, but the results didn't make her very happy,
“I wasn't expecting it to be a big deal. It was my idea to do it, since it was something the character did... [But then] I realised I couldn’t take it back,” Anne revealed on US chat show Live! With Kelly.
“[I was] a mental patient level of crying... I was inconsolable,” the 29-year-old actress concluded.
When we first saw the pictures of Anne’s new pixie crop we felt a bit sad/v. shocked that she’d chopped off her long locks too, but we think she can carry off the short ‘do.
Jumping off buildings!

As well as starring in the upcoming Les Mis movie, Anne also stars as Cat Woman in the new Batman film The Dark Knight Rises.
Anne reckons that coming to terms with cutting off her hair was more difficult than “doing back flips out of windows and jumping off buildings.”
Blimey! Anne really did love her hair!
