David Beckham was left out of the Team GB football team, but he’s still giving the squad his support.
The LA Galaxy star watched from the stands as the British football team played against the United Arab Emirates at Wembley Stadium last night. Of course, Dave was in the VIP section and was sat between his oldest son Brooklyn and his old pal Prince William.
David and William were part of the team who successfully worked on the bid to bring the games to London, and they cheered as Team GB won the match 3-1.
A busy week for Becks

He might have been left out of Team GB, but David did have a big part to play in the Olympics opening ceremony. We’ll never forget the image of him rushing down the Thames on a speedboat. His little face, he looked so happy!
David has also been in charity work mode over the past week. Along with legendary boxer Muhammad Ali he presented a special award to Afghan refugee Matiullah Haider at the first Generation Ali Beyond Sport Award in London.
Not only that, David – in his role as UNICEF Ambassador – also met up with David Cameron at Downing Street to chat to the PM about tackling world hunger.
Just when you think David Beckham couldn’t get any more perfect.
