Going against form, Harry Styles has turned down a come-on from 35-year-old fittie Sophie Anderton.
Back in the 90s, there was a model and presenter called Sophie Anderton. She was beautiful (well, she still is) and became a proper It Girl and proto-WAG. Then the drugs came along and she became a high-class call girl to fund her habit.
She confessed all of this to Jeremy Kyle after a stint on Celebrity Love Island, where she had a bottle of wine poured over her head by Lady Victoria Hervey. Textbook fall-from-grace stuff, really.
But One Direction’s Harry Styles didn’t know any of this – he was TWO years old when Sophie did her first modelling shots for sexy bra company Gossard. But there was something about her that put him off.
The mop-topped heart-throb, who’s usually pretty happy with a cougar, didn’t want to get involved with her at hi JLS/One Direction post-golf lads’ night out. After winning the tournament, Harry went with bandmate Niall Horan, as well as Olly Murs and JLS star Aston Merrygold to Marylebone club Rose, then to swanky nightclub Jalouse. A source told The Sun: ““As soon as Harry arrived she clocked him and headed in his direction.
“He said, ‘Hi’ but he was being polite to everyone. It looked like he didn’t know who she was.
“Wherever he moved, she followed. If he went to one end of the club, she went after him.”
Awks! Apparently she got the idea after some time: “She eventually got the hint and settled down on a nearby table. It was uncomfortable to watch.”
According to Sophie’s “people”, she had no idea who Harry was. Yeah, right…
