Justin Bieber has run into trouble with the law after being caught speeding through Los Angeles, but the singer has blamed the 100mph car chase on papparazzi.
A local councillor, Dennis Zine, alerted police after he spotted Justin racing through LA, closesly followed by another vehicle believed to be driven by the reporters.
Justin was fined at 10:45am by Californian Police, but insisted that he was being pursued by up to six other cars at the time of speeding.
Dennis, the civillian who spotted the chase, also happened to be a former police officer and stated that both pop sensation Bieber and the paprazzi were breaking the law, saying,
"This was very bizarre, very outrageous and showed a total disregard for life and property...The way [Bieber] was driving was totally reckless, I would have arrested him if I had pulled him over."
This isn't the first time that Bieber has faced trouble with paparazzi. The singer had a scuffle with one photographer in a shopping centre back in May.
Mr Zine went on to say that he was surprised none of the vehicles involved in the incident hadn't crashed as they were pulling "wild manoeuvres" to keep up with the singer.
