Kristen Stewart only went to meet Rupert Sanders the day those incriminating photos were taken to end their fling, it’s been reported.
The Twilight actress was recently photographed passionately kissing Snow White And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, but now reports claim she got carried away, and was actually just with him that day to put an end to their adulterous fling.
"She was caught up in a forbidden relationship with a man who should have known better," a friend of Kristen’s told The Mirror.
"Somehow things got totally out of control. Kristen had wanted to end their closeness that day, but her desires and emotions got the better of her."
Kristen’s friend also claims she texted the 41-year-old director after their encounter saying “she never wanted to do it again” because she was frightened of being caught.
"She was caught up in the moment and totally besotted by him. After that day she texted Rupert that she never wanted to do that again because she feared being caught and that things were too intense."
Was it worth it?
"She had no intention of leaving Robert and Rupert has never mentioned walking away from his family. She knew she did wrong, but realised how those photos would rip out Rob's heart. She has been in floods of tears since."
Rupert’s still wearing his wedding ring
It looks like things are over for Kristen and Robert Pattinson, after moving vans were pictured at their LA home last week, but what about Rupert and his wife – Kristen’s co-star in Snow White – Liberty Ross?
Rupert was spotted out and about yesterday for the first time since the affair came to light, and guess what? He’s still wearing his wedding ring.
Has Liberty really forgiven him?
A source revealed last week that she wants to keep her marriage going.
“Liberty is hurting. But she’s realistic. Things happen and marriage isn’t easy – she just hates the fact her name’s been dragged into all of this. Rupert has apologised profusely and she has accepted his apology. She hopes things get back on track – after all, they have kids together.”
He’d better buy her the biggest bunch of flowers the world has ever seen if he wants to get back in her good books.
