While doing promo for Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron struck up a great friendship, and ended up doing pretty LOL interviews like this one.
The French interview, for Canal +, sees the women joking about in response to the bizarre questions, even sticking their middle finger up at the cameras when they’re told to pretend they’re the paparazzi. Sure, The Question Box (a bit like Snog, Marry, Avoid’s Pod) asks some strange questions, like does Charlize look like Beyonce. But when it asks a pretty simple question about how to get a job in Hollywood, Kristen responds “We’re sitting on it”. Don’t worry if you didn’t get it, Charlize didn’t at first. But she starts guffawing because Kristen means they’re sitting on a couch, more specifically the casting couch. The darker side of Hollywood folklore says that actresses frequently get ahead by getting up to all sorts of hijinks on the casting couch with producers, directors, or any other general big cheese about. Now, there’s no suggestion that we know of
any actresses who have done this, but what an odd thing for Kristen to say ahead of having an affair with the director from her film…
