As you heatworld citizens may know, aside from the celebs and socialites, there are some rather odd characters on social networking site, Twitter. So when Lily Allen was accosted by a seemingly racist 'hater' trying to wind the star up, Lily hit out in her true outspoken style, publicly shaming the Twitter user and prompting an apology from the soldier.
That's right, the reported Army sniper sent Lily a message on Twitter, tweeting,
'Just seen you bought s*** I meant adopted a child from Africa #hero.'
Despite becoming accustomed to, and brushing off negative comments from Twitter users (you can't please everyone), it seems as though Lily was effected by the comment, which prompted the star to retweet the message asking her followers to accuse the sender of racism.
The singer then reported the user, Harry Wilson to the Ministry of Defence for online abuse. Since the debacle Lily revealed that Harry has apologised, saying,
"I have just received some flowers and a hand written apology from Harry Wilson, which I accept. I hope we can all now move on. Thank you."
The forgiving star was obviously satisfied with the soldier's apology and didn't want to hear anymore on the matter which isn't surprising, as with a new baby on the way, the last thing Lily needs is unnecessary drama!
