She may be welcome everywhere else, but it seems Kate Middleton wouldn’t make the cut in any magazine Victoria Beckham’s editing.
The style queen looks amazing as she guest edits the September issue of the US version of Glamour magazine and reveals she has a list of fashion ‘don’ts’ to stay out of the issue – including the Duchess of Cambridge’s favourite American tan tights.
She also reveals she stopped smiling when she got into fashion, David gives career-saving cuddles, she’s keen on having more children and – just like everybody else – she’s reading 50 Shades of Grey.
Posing in a bubble bath with a tiara on – we’ve all done it – as a sexy secretary and ‘sipping’ a strawberry milkshake Posh says: “Don’ts to keep out of the issue: boat shoes (unless of course you’re designer Alber Elbaz or on a boat!), Bermuda shorts, nose rings, Crocs, and American tan tights.”
Smiling
The former Spice Girl looks as hot as ever, but actually also looks like she’s having some fun. Asked why she’s never normally seen smiling she says, “Do you know, I don’t know?! I actually used to smile a lot in pictures.
“I think I only stopped smiling when I got into fashion. [Laughs] Fashion stole my smile! I’ve created this person. And I’m not saying that’s not me, but I wouldn’t say that’s the whole me… It’s an armor that goes up.”
She also gives us an insight into how Mr Goldenballs helped her through her New York fashion show by flying in with a mega-cuddle to watch her show for the first time… well, that’s how we imagine it anyway.
"He’s always been working or training,” she said. “But I was nervous about this show. I was feeling a lot of pressure.
“He phoned me the night before, and I just said, 'I want you to come be with me. I want a cuddle. I really do.' And it was great to have him there.
“I think he was surprised; I don’t usually bother him with much detail. And then you get there, and the models, the hair, the makeup…I think he was blown away!"
50 Shades
Just like every other celeb out there – and person on the train it seems – VB is also hooked on mummy-porn book, 50 Shades of Grey… though she’s regretting recommending it to her actual mummy.
“I’m halfway through the second one,” she said. “I even bought my mum the book! But every time she tries to engage in conversation about it, I kind of dodge the subject.
“I don’t really want to talk to my mother about S&M.”
Finally she admitted the couple weren’t ruling out having more (super-cute) kids: “I’d never say never about another baby. It’s a juggling act—a career, family, a husband who’s busy. But I’d never say never!”
Well, when you produce babies as cute as Harper Seven, it’s no surprise really.
