Those lovely One Direction boys are nothing if not modest.
Liam Payne has admitted that the group never imagined that they’d become famous outside of the UK after coming third on The X Factor or reach the level of success that they are currently enjoying.
“We never expected any of this at all. We thought that we would do a little bit in the UK after the end of the show,” he said at Radio City.
Now it has gone all over the world and more things have happened to us than we would ever have imagined.”
Who does Liam put 1D’s success down to? Harry Styles and his floppy hair? No. Niall Horan and his cheeky Irish charm? Nope, not that either. Liam credits the band’s loyal fans with their success,
“We owe it all to our fans...they are incredible and they have got us this far.”
Ahhh, that's nice, isn't it?
Example to write for One Direction
If Example has his way, One Direction will have another chart topping hit coming their way, as he’s written a selection of song that he thinks is perfect for the boys to sing,
“I've written three songs I think would be perfect for The Wanted or One Direction - or even Enrique Iglesias for that matter,” he tells The Daily Star.
“I don't care who sings them as long as they are big hits and make me money.”
