Now, we all know that Professor Green fella’s a bit of a cheeky chappie. So we weren’t that surprised to hear he’d been winding the press up.

When he was approached by a reporter and asked if he’d split from Made In Chelsea’s Millie Mackintosh, the Professor decided to have a little fun by claiming the couple had called it a day after Millie cheated on him with another woman.

Cripes.

“Publicist got an e mail from the daily star asking why me and millie had broken up,” Pro Green tweeted.

“She replied saying it wasn't true...despite my best efforts to get her to tell them we had, and it was because millie was having a relationship with a bird behind me back.

“No, it isn't true that millie was seeing a bird behind my back, that's just what i wanted to tell the paper that asked if we'd broken up.”

Millie gets a shock

Millie seemed just as surprised as us to hear the news that she’d split from Pro Green – real names Stephen Manderson – as she took to her Twitter before jetting off to Ibiza to meet up with her man yesterday.

She said: “Turned roaming off my phone and now have found out I apparently have split up with my boyfriend after a lesbian affair.”

The Daily Star reported that they’d gone their separate ways because he was fed up of waiting around for 'hours at a time' for her to get ready to go out.

And apparently the Remedy singer had had enough of her being too clingy and serious.

To really hit home that they were very much still together, Pro posted a picture of the loved-up couple enjoying some fun in the sun in a swimming pool at the Ocean Beach Club in Ibiza.

“1. The bird wears hardly any makeup. 2. Your mum has sex with her dog. 3. Look how broken up we look.”

Hmmm, not sure whose mum he’s referring to there but we're staying out of it...
