Our sympathies go out to Sylvester Stallone's family today, as news has broken that the actor's son, Sage Stallone has passed away, age 36.
Sage was found dead in Hollywood in his apartment and it has been reported that the actor and producer passed away following an overdose of pills. The pills were found at the star's home but it has not been confirmed whether or not the death was accidental.
George Braunstein, Sage's attorney, gave a statement today revealing,
"I have just gotten a report that he was found dead at his home...He was in good spirits, and working on all kinds of projects. He was planning on getting married. I am just devastated. He was an extremely wonderful, loving guy. This is a tragedy."
A spokesperson from the LAPD checked out the scene after an un-named person was unable to contact the star, the rep says,
"There is no suspicion of foul play or criminal activity"
Sage not only starred in the movies Rocky V and Daylight, but also worked as a producer, writer and director within the film industry.
