Russell Brand to become a vicar?
Well if any celeb’s going to do it, it’s that kooky kookster Russell Brand.
Comedian Russell has decided he’d quite like to become a vicar.
The Rock Of Ages star was surfing the web when he came across a site that offered licenses to officiate marriages.
A source said: “Russell is genuinely interested in the idea of marrying a couple.
“Now he’s getting matey with Tom Cruise, his pals have been joking that he could do the honours at the star’s fourth wedding.”
But who will Tom be marrying this time?
Willy Wonka
Russell recently described his 14-month marriage to Katy Perry as like being on 'a diet of rice' making his post-divorce dating spree feel like being let loose in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.
That doesn’t sound like the words of a man of the cloth, now does it?
‘Dull’ Georgina Dorsett axed from TOWIE
‘Dull’ Georgina Dorsett axed from TOWIE
Apart from the air hockey date she went on with Joey Essex, Diags and Lauren Pope, TOWIE’s Georgina Dorsett hasn’t given us much to talk about during her time on the show.
And now bosses have given her the heave-ho after she failed to ‘spice up her appearances.’
“She was a bit of a damp squib and brought nothing to the show,” an inside source revealed.
“She didn’t really mix with any of the others and it didn’t look like she wanted to be there.”
But another insider claimed it was a joint decision between Georgina, whose boyfriend is Team GB football Olympian Tom Cleverley, and the show’s bosses.
The insider said: “Georgina leaving was a mutual decision between her and producers.
“Her heart wasn’t really in it and producers felt she didn’t bring much to the show. She really wants to spend more time with Tom out of Essex.”
TOWIE returns to our screens for the sixth series Sunday at 10pm on ITV2.
So what do you think – will Georgina be missed?
Expectant dad Gary Barlow refuses to go further than Europe for The X Factor
Expectant dad Gary Barlow refuses to go further than Europe for The X Factor
Gary Barlow’s expecting his fourth child this summer, but unfortunately for The X Factor bosses that’s around the same time as judges’ houses.
Producers were hoping to send Gary off to New York for the occasion, but he’s put his foot down and said he’ll go no further than Europe in case wife Dawn goes into labour.
Last night a show source said: “Gary’s daughter is due to arrive at exactly the same time the judges’ houses are set to be filmed.
“Gary is really torn — he wants to be with his acts but he knows he can’t miss his daughter’s birth.”
The insider added: “You could see Gary making a hospital dash on the show. This really is reality TV.”
And it looks like Gary’s Take That pal Robbie Williams won’t be helping him to whittle down contestants at the judges’ houses round as he did in LA last year.
His wife Ayda Field is expecting their first baby in September.
A source said: “It’s all about keeping the wives happy.”
Maybe Gary could get bandmate Mark Owen to help.
Oh no, wait a minute…
