We're STILL trying to get over how amazing last night was. Danny Boyle's £27m extravaganza Olympic opening ceremony was possibly the best show we have EVER seen!
Though it was more about people than the country's royal history, the Queen did have a role in it all beyond reading a few words from a piece of paper. Not just any old role, though - she appeared in a comedy segment which ended in her appearing to parachute her way into the stadium!
The scene, called Happy and Glorious, started off with a car shooting down The Mall towards Buckingham Palace. Once inside the palace, Daniel Craig (in role as James Bond) bounded up the stairs (along with her corgis) to greet The Queen.

Sitting at her desk and writing letters, no-one watching thought the actual Queen would turn around. We all thought it was a lookalike! But she DID turn around, and after a small "Good evening, Mr Bond", they walked towards a waiting helicopter.
After flying together in the helicopter, they reached the stadium, where they appeared to jump out and parachute their way down to the crowd. And, fittingly, this was when the real Queen turned up in the royal booth, joined by Prince Philip and Jacques Rogge, president of the Olympic Committee!
How much did you love the Queen's entrance?
