Katie Holmes has been spotted spending lots of quality time with Suri Cruise since the news of her divorce from Tom Cruise.
Yesterday it was time for some Daddy/daughter bonding as Tom flew into New York to see Suri for the first time since news broke that Katie was divorcing him.
With shooting on Tom’s film Oblivion over and done with the 50-year-old actor left California and headed to see his youngest daughter. Tom, along with his sister Cass Mapother took six-year-old Suri to the Greenwich Hotel.
As for an awkward meeting between Tom and Katie to hand over Suri, sources tell TMZ that there wasn’t one. Tom had no contact with Katie has he collected Suri from Katie’s new apartment.

Tom was last seen in public with Suri on 16 June as they dined at Sushi Samba in Reykjavik, Iceland along with Katie. So we can imagine Tom was overjoyed to see his little girl.
Last week Tom’s lawyer Bert Fields emphasised how much family mean to Tom,
“Tom loves Suri very, very much, as he does his other two children. Tom is a family man, and dedicated to his children. They are the centre of his world.”
Following the news of their split and quick divorce agreement Katie now has primary custody of Suri.
