Tulisa Contostavlos spent the end of last week partying in Ibiza to celebrate her 24th birthday, and finally settling a certain legal battle with ex-boyfriend Justin Edwards. Which is fair enough, she’s had a stressful time of late…
However, she has angered fans by cancelling a scheduled performance just two days after letting her hair down on the party island. Tulisa was due to take the stage at GuilFest in Surrey this weekend, but called the event’s organisers just minutes before she was due on stage saying that she was unwell.
“You have to be 100 per cent when you get up on the stage”
“We got a message from Tulisa's team just beforehand saying she was unwell and could not make it,” revealed Tony Scott, GuilFest’s organiser to The Mail Online.
“They said she was really sorry and would love to come back next year. I think GuilFest is one of Tulisa's favourite gigs and this would have been her third time in a row.
“I think she was genuinely upset at not being able to perform but if somebody is not very well, they are not very well. You have to be 100 per cent when you get up on the stage,” Tony explained.
Tulisa: “I was really unwell”
Tulisa has since apologised for missing the show with a message to her fans on Twitter. She wrote on the site,
“So sorry I had to cancel at GuilFest guys. I was really unwell. Hate letting down my fans but I genuinely couldn't perform. I’m on the mend X.”
Perhaps Tulisa caught a cold from all that recycled air on the private jet she hired for her trip?
