Congrats to Uma Thurman, who has just given birth to her third child, a baby girl. Her manager Jason Weinberg confirmed the news in a very short statement: “"Mom and baby are doing well!”
This is the first child for Kill Bill actress with financier boyfriend Arpad Busson. She has two children from her previous relationship with Ethan Hawke, and Arpad has two sons from his previous relationship with model Elle Macpherson.
"Over the moon"
According to Us Weekly, the pair had not planned on having a child together, but that the pregnancy was a very happy surprise. A source told the magazine in February: “Uma was definitely not planning on having another kid. It was a surprise. But she’s over the moon about it, very excited.”
The pair started dating in 2007, and were together for two years before splitting. They were spotted together again in 2011, and earlier this year, she told Harper’s Bazaar: “I have something I would like to express about my love life: I'm happier with it now than I've been in many, many years”.
She added: ““I guess I’m less jaded now than I've ever been . . . definitely less than when I was younger.”
The edgy actress most recently appeared on film Bel Ami alongside Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson, and had the distinct pleasure of sharing a sex scene with the frowny fittie. And on TV she’s guest-starred in the Glee-for-adults musical series Smash. Jealous!
