It is understood hit singer Usher's stepson from his previous marriage has been involved in a terrible accident involving a jet ski on Lake Lanier in Atlanta, Georgia. The 11-year-old boy has reportedly suffered injuries, which have left him unresponsive to doctor’s efforts.
Upon hearing the news it appears Usher has reached out to his ex-wife to offer her support. The couple, who divorced in 2009, have recently been involved in a nasty custody battle over their two biological children, Usher Raymond V and Nviyd. All differences have been set aside to focus on the tragedy that has hit Tameka and her little boy, Kyle Glover.
Usher has known the young boy for seven years and has, according to reports, in the past raised him as though he was his own flesh and blood. Usher is said to be, understandably, very upset.
As is with most events nowadays, famous friends have used Twitter to send the star messages of support and sadness.
Will Smith's wife Pinkett-Smith/">Jada Pinkett-Smith tweeted, "Our prayers are yours Usher, Tameka and to all those who have put love into your son. Our prayers are with you as well. Be strong."
Singer Toni Braxton also sent Usher a message via Twitter, saying, "My heart and prayers go out to Tameka Raymond and Usher Raymond IV during this extremely difficult time".
This is very sad news indeed.
