We hadn't heard much of Agyness Deyn in the past year or so. That was, until it was discovered that she'd married American actor Giovanni Ribisi after a whirlwind romance.
And although she wants to remain very quiet about her relationship with the Scientologist, she did reveal she was ready to settle down: "A lot of my friends have families and kids and it’s a group I want to be a part of."
When asked by The Times if her life's changed direction now that she's married, she replied: “I suppose life changes all the time, you’re just doing different stuff. “I’ll always be an adventurer . . . I don’t have any rules.”
Very vague! One relationship she was willing to delve into was the one she has with the Dr Martens brand: "“I have always had a really intense relationship with Dr. Martens.
“Right from my first pair back when I was 13, which I bought as a combination of showing that I wanted to rebel against my parents, and they were the coolest boots that I could get away with wearing to school, which stood for something that gave me my own stamp of originality."
She added: "Your bag and your shoes are what distinguish your personality.”
But she refused to talk about the pressure for models to look a certain way, saying: "“I don’t really want to be a spokesperson so I don’t really want to talk about it.”
“I just go and do the job; it’s not who I am, it’s my job.”
