We've seen a whole load of Olympic athletes with funky fingernails, showing off their countries' colours on their hands as well as with their Stella McCartney-designed kits.
But it's not only sportsmen and women who like to express themselves with their manicures. Take, for instance, Beyonce, who has got a picture of herself one one studded fingernail, and a picture of husband Jay Z on the other.
She blogged the photo of her nails to her Tumblr page yesterday. On some of her other fingernails, there is a 'J' and a 'Z' each presumably for Jay Z and a 'B' either for Beyonce, Blue Ivy, or both mother and daughter. There is also an 'IV' which looks a bit like an 'N' - but is definitely an 'IV', standing for Ivy.
But she's not only been getting her nails did. She's also been really kind and pledged to give back to the world by donating a song of hers to charity.
Her album track I Was Here will have its music video filmed live on August 19 at the United Nations HQ in New York. She said: "We all see the headlines and think 'What can I do to help?'"
"World Humanitarian Day is an opportunity for all of us to work together to make a difference."
"This is our time to leave our mark on the world and show that we were here and we care."
