Brad Pitt has made sure he’s never short of a buddy to go motorbiking with by buying son Maddox a Suzuki DRZ-125 motocross bike for his 11th birthday.
The Benjamin Button star presented Maddox with his fancy birthday present at their rented home in Surrey over the weekend.
Super-dad Brad’s also had a motocross trail built in the extensive grounds at their Chateau Miraval in France.
“Brad’s always been a generous dad and as Maddox has shown a keen interest in bikes, he thought he may as well get him started,” a source said.
“He was down at the house the other week and got the builders to dig him a muddy trail all through the woods and around the lake.
“Brad was just as excited as Maddox about it, though — he’s put in little jumps and puddles so they’ll get really muddy.
All sounds a bit dangerous to us.
But panic not, Brad’s bought all the safety gear for Maddox.
“The bike has an automatic clutch and, of course, Brad’s bought him his own helmet and protective gear.

Brad tied a bow around the bike before giving it to his son.
God we wish Brad was our dad.
“Brad took him into the garage and there the bike was with a bow on it. Maddox was over the moon and couldn’t wait to try it out. He was riding it around all day at the house, tearing up the lawn.”
Brad was spotted shopping for kids’ bikes in HGB Motorcycles in Ruislip in June.
The Hollywood star knew exactly what he was looking for after riding them for years.
He’s built an impressive collection of bikes, including a Ducati Desmosedici RR and a Monster 696.

But it’s not just Maddox who’s been enjoying Brad’s generous streak lately – fiancée Angelina Jolie got a little treat herself.
Brad – who’s rumoured to be tying the knot with Angelina this weekend – spent £250,000 on one of the world’s most expensive watches as a wedding present for his ladyfriend.

Brad, 48, managed to snap up a luxurious Patek Philippe Minute Repeater, despite there usually being a two-year waiting list for the pricey timepiece.

The fancy-pants watch is gold with a mother of pearl dial and takes two months to make.
“Brad decided to buy one of the amazing watches after meeting the Stern family at a watch fair in Basel,” a source said.
“He wanted to buy Ange a unique gift that very few people own which is like a piece of art — and the highly sophisticated watch is just that.
“It chimes sounds based on Big Ben and is constructed by hand.
“He went to Geneva to pick it up and it’s believed he’ll present it to Ange as a pre-wedding gift.”
Brad got engaged to Angelina, 37, in April after seven years together.
