Britney Spears was chain-smoking and appeared completely ‘out of it’ while filming of a long advert in California, according to reports.
While filming the Elizabeth Arden Fantasy Twist perfume shoot, Britney tweeted her 19 million followers, apparently giving no indication of her weird state but the star was apparently ‘smoking incessantly’ and not paying attention, seemingly with her mind on other things.
“Britney didn't interact with the cast or crew at all during the two day shoot” a source on the set told RadarOnline.com. “She seemed to be just going through the motions when the camera was rolling, and seemed out of it."
Security was also stepped up for the commercial at Long Beach, California. The source told Radar: “Security was very tight and Britney had more bodyguards than usual and was kept out of sight from visitors"
On day two of the perfume shoot the 30-year-old uploaded a photo of herself dolled up for the commercial, saying she was ‘lovin’ the shoot and ‘Jason says I look like Jean Harlow!’
But according to the source Britney spent a lot of time in hair and make-up and "nervously bit her fingernails and kept smoking throughout."
During the shoot Britney is reported to have taken numerous breaks and spent every available minute ‘huddled up’ with fiancé Jason Trawick.
