We've said our fair share of cheeky things about celebrities over the years. But rest assured, we'll stop way short of encouraging pre-teen girls to make voodoo dolls of someone they barely know.
Which is exactly what a US One Direction magazine told its readers to do to Caroline Flack. I
n an article entitled "Go Away" in The Girl's Guide to One Direction, a picture of Caroline was surrounded by little notes. They said things like her skin is "an outer hide that looks like leather" and hair that "looks ilke the ground of a petting zoo".
The Xtra Factor presenter took to Twitter to express her rage at being abused like this, all because she dated Harry Styles for a bit: "Im very aware about the voodoo doll article in a certain magazine and have been for some time."
"It was one of the most hurtful things ive ever read. But thankyou for all the nice supportive messages! I dont take notice of nasty things written to encourage bullying x.' [sic]"
She even managed to crack a joke out of the snarky "crows' feet" remark the magazine made: "Ive never had so many nice messages in one afternoon!!! Me and my crows feet are thankful. X "
Finishing up, she added, snappily: "Oh and my neice Willow could write a more intelligent article..and shes seven...rant over... I got some serious blonde hair to sort out..eek.[sic]"

New hair 'do
Not that they were right about anything they said about her - bar the facts her first name is Caroline and her surname is Flack - but they're extra-specially wrong about her hair.
True to her tweeted word, she did sort out her blonde hair, because at the launch of The X Factor today, we saw her sporting a brand new blonde mop-top, and it looked fab!
Chin up, Caroline, forget about the haters.
