In last night's spectacular Olympic closing ceremony, a whole section was dedicated to the finest names in British fashion. The models and designers didn't just stop at the classic Naomi and Kate and McQueen and Burberry, though, but included a stroll along the catwalk from the fittest man from Essex since Mark Wright - yep, David Gandy!
In this interview, David talks about how he prepared for the role: "I was only walking, so I've been prepared in that since I was a baby"
He also explains why he was smiling so smugly - not because he had Jourdan Dunn on his arm, but because he was nervous. And apparently all of the models were: "We were a little bit nervous...we hadn't actually seen the stadium and the runways until we were actually revealed"
He also revealed that there were no divas on the night, even though he shared the stage with the Spice Girls, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Jessie J AND George Michael!
The blue-eyed model also talks a bit about how the Olympians are "real heroes" ahead of celebrities. Something which our very own Boyd Hilton has something to say about in his column in this week's heat, which is out tomorrow!
