Cheryl Cole has been spotted on a series of dates with new boyfriend Tre Holloway, 27, but it turns out that Tre isn’t such a new boyfriend after all.
heat has discovered that Cheryl and backing dancer Tre have been seeing each other since March last year!
Tre and Cheryl became friend when he danced with her during her performance of Promise This on The X Factor in October 2010.Then in March 2011, Tre updated his Facebook page to say ‘In a Relationship’ but soon hid his relationship status after his friends began asking questions about who his new girlfriend was.
Since then, Tre – who is based in LA – and Cheryl have seen each other whenever they can, either when Cheryl is in LA working on her music or when Tre has worked as backing dancer for Chezza.

Now, it looks like Cheryl is ready to go public with her (not-so) new man, having been seen out on three dates with him last week.
“Earning Cheryl’s trust is no mean feat. She’s very cautious about relationships and rarely lets anyone into her life, so she’s been taking it slow and keeping it under wraps for a long time,” an insider close to Cheryl has told heat.
“It’s a huge statement that Cheryl has now stepped out with Tre,” we’re told. “It shows that she’s really confident that she’s got something special with Tre, and that they’ll be seeing a lot more of each other. To be let into Cheryl’s circle, which is very tight, really means something.”
