Kate Bosworth has oh so casually announced she's engaged to boyfriend Michael Polish.
The 29-year-old and her fiancé had been dating for a year when the star decided to slip the f-word into a travel piece she wrote for Vogue.
In the post about her trip to Seoul for Vogue.com's special Summer Travel Diaries, the Superman Returns actress writes: “On our first day in Seoul, my fiancé, Michael Polish, and I venture out to discover Changdeokgung Palace. As soon as we enter, it is like magically being transported to a different world—this awe-inspiring, sprawling place was originally built in 1405.”
Kate dated Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom for three years 2005, then dated 'True Blood' actor Alexander Skarsgard before getting engaged to Michael Polish, a film director.
The actress met him last summer filming the upcoming film ‘Big Sur' which 41-year-old Michael was directing. Kate plays a character called Billie.
We’ve always had Kate down as one of Hollywood’s more studious actresses (our research also reveals she’s a keen horse rider and was a champion equestrian by the age of 14). So in case you’re interested beyond the engagement announcement, Kate went on a bit…
‘We explore ancient towers, pavilions, and the beautiful “secret gardens,” and the feeling is serene, peaceful, and ancient. What is interesting about Seoul is the juxtaposition between modern-day skyscrapers, towering over ancient preserved buildings.’
(Yeah, us neither.)
