We haven't heard much from Katie Price recently, which almost made us think maybe she was going to just marry her hard-of-English boyfriend Leandro Penna and sail off to a happy, quiet life.

However nothing's that simple, especially when it comes to Katie Price. The latest story in the neverending saga that is her life, she has been given a one year driving ban. She is not allowed behind the wheel for a full twelve months after being found guilty of two counts of failing to provide details of a driver's identity to the authorities.

And, on top of that, she's blamed Leandro for speeding in her car!

Last year, her Range Rover was caught on speeding cameras twice. She was sent notices telling her about the offences after they happened - in September 2011. But she said that she only aware of them in April this year.

Appearing at Bromley Magistrates court, she said that she doesn't open her own post, but her mum does and that the first notices must have been lost when she was moving house.

She also blamed boyfriend Leandro for the speeding, according to The Sun. She said: "We checked it out and we saw it was the white Range Rover and I said: 'Oh well, it definitely wasn't me, because I have got the Pink one and I always drive my Pink Range Rover.'"

She added: "I have got three other cars that I don't really drive, they're just on the driveway. There's other people insured on them if they want to drive them."

Oh, how the other half live!

"I know on the Monday that Leo, my other half, took his family, because they were visiting from Argentina to London and got back late because his sister's boyfriend got mugged in the pub, and on the Tuesday morning it was the kids' first day at school."

"I know it was Leo, he was the only one who drove that car, he didn't have another car to drive."

She was given six penalty points, and because she already had six, the grand total of 12 points means she can't drive any car, let alone her fave Pink Range Rover, until September 2013.
