Only days away from their would be one year anniversary, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries divorce proceedings are finally due to start today.
The couple married in true Kardashian style on the hit reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and saw not one but three different wedding dress changes by the bride. However the Fairytale was short lived, lasting all of 72 days, with Kim filing for divorce in late October 2011.
Despite signing a prenup Kris has refused to settle. He claims that the wedding was a fraud and wants Kim to admit this and apologise to both him and his family, which she is refusing to do… Obviously!
Today the lawyers will present to the judge what progress they have made to either settle or go to trial.
Kris has also reportedly requested that Kim new beau Kanye West appear in court in an aid to prove that his marriage with the 31 year old reality star was indeed a sham.
Sources say Kris would like to have Kanye admit that scenes from the reality show are scripted and find out whether or not the new couple (who have been officially dating since April 2012) were in fact together when Kris was with Kim.
If Kris loses he faces paying all of Kim’s legal fees, but as he has earned hundreds of thousands from the Reality TV show and signed a basketball contract with the Brooklyn Nets allegedly worth $24 million this shouldn’t matter much right?
