Earlier today – that’s how quickly Lindsay Lohan’s woes are developing – we told you that the star has been named as a formal suspect in police investigations following the alleged theft of some watches and sunglasses. It now turns out that Tiffany monogrammed silverware was stolen as well. She has said, though, that legendarily shady hip hop manager Suge Knight’s son, Andrew was the culprit – but police aren’t convinced.
She’d initially not been a suspect, as the two men - Andrew and another guy - who’d accompanied her to a party at friend Sam Magid’s house were initially accused of stealing the accessories, worth a combined $100,000.

Stolen items "wrapped in t-shirt"
But now, according to TMZ, Sam has told the police that Andrew and the other man had told him that on the night of the party, she handed them a bag, and inside the bag she had wrapped up the stolen items "in a T-shirt". Once the men discovered the items, they returned them to Sam. Sam’s given the items to the police now, but they’re continuing their investigation.
This is perhaps why Lindsay has now been named a suspect, and even though Sam has retracted his allegations against her, police still want to speak to her because they believe other people at the all-night party will be able to pinpoint her as the thief.
This is worrying enough, as, if found guilty of this supposed theft, she will be in violation of the parole she was put under after being found guilty of stealing a necklace from a shop in Venice Beach, Los Angeles, earlier this year.

Car crash woes
And a whole other police force is after her for a chat after it was alleged that she had lied to them about the car crash she got into last month. According to TMZ, Santa Monica police detectives have been trying to reach Lindsay because apparently she said she was not the driver of the crashed car, but the passenger.
Yet, according to TMZ's sources, Lindsay WAS the driver. Her lawyer, Shawn Holley, has complained that police shouldn’t be trying to contact her directly, as she has a lawyer to vouch for her.
However, if this goes to court and Lindsay is convicted, she could face up to a year in jail. And there’s a matter of that probation!
